Ident Concept
Sky Arts Ident
Taking into account the content shown on Sky Arts I have
decided to bring to life a contemporary piece of art through
animation. A series of these animated interpretations could
be used as a consistent theme to connect the viewer with
the Sky Arts brand. I would plan to use quite well known
artworks so the viewer might have a familiarity and emotional
bond to them. This could also add an interactive
element as the viewer might feel compelled to find out what
the animated work was if they didn’t instantly recognise it.
I have chosen Ai Weiwei’s “Sunflower Seeds” as the first of
the series but the idea could could relate to a broad range of
contemporary artworks.
